This section is for discussing prop firm challenges and evaluations: rules, profit targets, drawdown limits, time limits, scaling plans, and strategies for passing. If you've passed, failed, or found something worth knowing, share it here. Basic conduct Be straight about your experience. Passed a challenge? Great, share what worked. Failed? Even better, share what went wrong. Both are useful. Don't talk down to people who are on their first challenge. The rules vary wildly between firms and it takes time to figure out what actually matters. If you disagree with someone's approach to a challenge, explain your reasoning. Promotion & advertising Do not promote prop firms, challenge services, or passing tools without admin approval. This includes "I used this EA to pass, DM me for the settings" if it leads to a sales funnel. Mentioning a firm or tool in context is fine. Building threads around them to drive referrals is not. Referral links get removed without warning. DMing members to sell challenge passing services will get you banned. Posting standards When discussing a specific challenge, name the firm and the account size. Rules differ between tiers and firms, and vague advice based on unclear context causes confusion. Be precise about the rules you're working with: daily drawdown, max drawdown, profit target, minimum trading days. These details are what make advice actually applicable. If you're sharing a passing strategy, include live context, not just a backtest. Challenge conditions and live execution are not the same thing. If your approach stopped working after a firm updated its rules, flag it. Outdated strategies presented as current advice do real damage here. Other things that'll get your post removed Posts that are clearly just advertising a challenge passing service or funded account reseller. Strategies that involve exploiting platform glitches or loopholes. That's not trading, and most firms will void your account for it anyway. Unverified claims about a firm's evaluation process presented as fact. Warnings for minor stuff, bans for anything deliberate or repeated. Not sure if something fits here, message a mod before posting. — ForexRoasted Team

This section covers MT4 and MT5 specifically: platform setup, EA installation, scripting, troubleshooting, and anything else tied to the MetaTrader ecosystem. If your question is more about a specific broker's conditions or a standalone indicator, there are better sections for that. Basic conduct If you see someone make a mistake in their code or setup, point it out properly. A correction with context is useful, a one-line "that's wrong" is not. No condescension toward newer traders figuring out the platform. MT4 has a learning curve and everyone here hit the same walls at some point. Critique the approach, not the person. Promotion & advertising Do not advertise EAs, scripts, or any paid products without admin approval. "Here's a free version, DM me for the full one" is still promotion. If you've built something and want to share it, contact admin first. Referral links and third-party service promotions get removed without warning. DMing members to sell anything will get you banned. Posting standards When asking for help, specify the platform version (MT4 or MT5), your broker, and what exactly is happening. Screenshots help. "My EA stopped working" tells us nothing. When sharing code, paste it properly formatted. A wall of unformatted MQL is hard to read and people are less likely to help. If you've solved your own issue, post the fix. Someone else will run into the same problem. Other things that'll get your post removed Sharing cracked or decompiled versions of paid EAs or indicators. Zero tolerance. Posts that are clearly just fishing for private coaching or paid services. Off-topic broker complaints or general trading discussion. Warnings for minor stuff, bans for anything deliberate or repeated. Not sure if something fits here, message a mod before posting. — ForexRoasted Team
