this is a cautionary post. spent 7 months building a journaling habit, trading improved steadily. got overconfident, decided i'd 'internalized' the lessons and stopped journaling. three months later i'm in a bad drawdown and can't clearly articulate what changed.

e8 dashboard is genuinely beautiful and useful small thing but having tools that help you THINK about your trading rather than just track is a real differentiator

octafx was my first broker, learned a lot but moved on after 18 months once i understood costs better nothing terrible about them but better options exist once you know what to look for

admiral has been my main broker for 18 months and i love how stable they are no drama, no policy changes that screw clients, just consistent execution. boring broker is good broker
