This section is for advanced trading discussions: execution, risk management, psychology, systems thinking, market structure, and professional workflows. The bar for discussion here is higher than in the rest of the forum, and that's intentional. Basic conduct Assume the person you're talking to knows what they're doing until proven otherwise. This section attracts people with real experience and they deserve to be treated accordingly. Disagreement is fine. This is where some of the best arguments on the forum happen. Keep it about the ideas. If you're pointing out a flaw in someone's reasoning, be specific. Vague dismissiveness doesn't belong here. Promotion & advertising Do not promote paid services, courses, funds, or any commercial product without admin approval. Experienced traders are exactly the audience bad actors want access to, so this gets enforced strictly. Mentioning tools or platforms in context is fine. Building threads around them to drive traffic is not. Referral links get removed without warning. DMing members with commercial offers will get you banned. Posting standards Be precise. This section isn't the place for vague market takes or surface-level analysis. If you're making a point, make it properly. When discussing systems or workflows, include enough detail to make it useful. High-level generalisations don't move the conversation forward. Psychology and mindset discussions are welcome, but ground them in practical experience. Abstract theory without real application doesn't add much here. If you're sharing results or data to support a point, be transparent about the methodology. Other things that'll get your post removed Content that belongs in beginner or general sections being posted here to get more visibility. Posts that use the credibility of this section as cover for promoting a product or service. Unverified performance claims used to establish authority. Warnings for minor stuff, bans for anything deliberate or repeated. Not sure if something fits here, message a mod before posting. — ForexRoasted Team

This section is for broker reviews, comparisons, complaints, and general discussion about trading conditions. If you've had a real experience with a broker - good or bad - this is the place to talk about it. Before posting, it's worth checking if we've already reviewed the broker you're asking about - we cover the most commonly used ones and flag anything worth knowing upfront: forexroasted.com/brokers Basic conduct Keep it factual. If a broker screwed you over, say exactly what happened: dates, account type, what support said. A detailed complaint is useful. "They're a scam" with nothing behind it isn't. No personal attacks on other members. Disagree with someone's broker choice all you want, just don't make it personal. Don't dismiss people's bad experiences because you've had a different one. Both can be true at the same time. Promotion & advertising Do not promote a broker, IB deal, referral link, or affiliate offer without admin approval. This includes posting your ref link "just to share," recommending the same broker across multiple threads, or creating threads that are clearly just lead generation. If you work for or are affiliated with a broker you're discussing, say so upfront. Astroturfing gets you permanently banned. Unsolicited DMs pushing broker sign-ups will result in an immediate ban. Posting standards When reviewing a broker, give actual context - how long you've traded with them, what account type, which platform, and what region you're in. Conditions vary. Don't post unverified withdrawal issues as confirmed scams without evidence. Accusations stick, so make sure yours are backed up. Regulation status matters - mention it when it's relevant. There's a difference between an FCA-regulated broker and an offshore one, and people deserve to know which they're dealing with. Other things that'll get your post removed Fake reviews - positive or negative. If it looks planted, it goes. Discussing brokers that have nothing to do with retail forex trading. Posting broker promotions, bonus offers, or contest announcements without admin sign-off. Warnings for minor stuff, bans for anything deliberate or repeated. Not sure if something crosses the line —> message a mod before posting. — ForexRoasted Team

Picking a broker is probably the most important decision you'll make as a trader. There's no shortage of options, and half of them will either requote you to death or bury you in fees you didn't see coming. We've looked at a lot of brokers, here is the rating, by the way. The one we're comfortable putting our name behind is Ultima Markets. Full review here: forexroasted.com/brokers/ultimamarkets-review Why we're recommending them and not someone else Most affiliate setups in this industry work like this: you click someone's referral link, they get a commission, and you get a marked-up spread baked into your account without ever knowing about it. You're paying for the referral whether you like it or not. Our link doesn't work that way. There's no markup on your account. You get the exact same conditions you'd get going directly to their site — same spreads, same account type, same everything. The only difference is we get a small flat commission from the broker side, which helps keep this forum running. You lose literally nothing. Sign up through our link: THE LINK If you've traded with them already — good or bad — drop your experience in this section. That's more useful to people here than anything we can write. — ForexRoasted Team

This section is for discussing EAs, trading robots, algo strategies, backtesting setups, and anything related to automated trading. Pretty straightforward stuff, but a few things need to be spelled out. Basic conduct Don't be a dick to other members. Debate the idea, not the person. If someone's EA is garbage, say so, just don't make it personal. No harassment, no targeted pile-ons, no trolling. We've all seen how that ends on other forums. Promotion & advertising Don't advertise your bot, EA, signal service, or anything you're selling, not without clearing it with admin first. This includes the subtle stuff: "oh by the way my tool does exactly this" across five different threads is still promo. Referral links posted without permission get removed, no warning. DMing members to push your product will get you banned. Full stop. Posting standards If you're sharing a backtest, give it some context. Raw equity curve screenshots with zero explanation aren't useful to anyone. Don't post performance claims you can't back up. "Made 400% in three months" with no evidence goes straight in the bin. Stay on topic. This isn't the place for broker drama or general trading chat — there are other sections for that. Other stuff that'll get you removed Sharing cracked or decompiled EAs. Zero tolerance, instant ban. Promoting brokers beyond a passing technical mention. Warnings for minor stuff, bans for anything deliberate or repeated. So, the rules are not that complicated. If something feels like it might be borderline, just message a mod before posting. — ForexRoasted Team

to make it concrete for anyone trying it: set both legs identical at entry, log them as separate trades, and use server-side stops on each so a platform issue on one doesnt orphan it. the moment you find yourself mentally tracking them as one position is the moment a mistake is coming. independence on paper and on the server, not just in intention.
