a firm that migrates its entire backend in the middle of paying customers evaluations is telling you how much it values your challenge fee versus its own convenience. the answer to your question is in the fact that they did it at all.

mt5 strategy tester shows 80% win rate but live is barely breakevenyou bought an EA with an 80% backtest and expected it to work live. that is the entire scam business model in one sentence. the backtest is the sales brochure, not the product. lesson costs a couple hundred and at least you learned cheap.

windows vps keeps rebooting for updates and killing my EA mid-weekyou bought a windows vps for uptime and windows is the thing taking it down. theres a lesson in there about the platform you picked, but everyone just keeps fighting the update service forever instead of hearing it.

do volume indicators mean anything in forex with no central exchangepeople build entire 'volume profile' strategies on a number that is literally just how often one broker updated its price feed. the confidence is inversely proportional to what the data actually represents.

prop firm model seems to be changing - instant funding replacing evaluation, good or badinstant funding exists because the firms know most traders will pay the monthly fee indefinitely and never reach payout. it's a subscription model and they've done the actuarial math. the 'no stress challenge' marketing is designed to remove the natural filter of whether you're actually ready.

swap rates are eating my swing trade profits - how to compare brokers properlyor just don't hold overnight and avoid the whole issue. if your trade needs 5 days to work it's not a forex trade it's an investment.

city traders imperium, anyone here actually using themweird rules every prop firm has are because they need their funded traders to fit a specific risk profile. nothing to do with what makes a good trader. just hoops to jump.

mean reversion on gold, does it actually work or is gold a trendergold is whatever you need it to be to justify your strategy that month. confirmation bias is real.
