š Prop Firm Discussion ā Rules (read before posting)
-
This section is for everything prop firm related: sharing your experience, discussing firm models, debating rule changes, comparing payouts, and keeping track of what's actually happening in the industry.
Basic conduct
- Be specific. "Firm X is great" or "Firm X is a scam" with nothing behind it helps nobody. Say what happened, when, and what the outcome was.
- Bad experiences are just as welcome as good ones. This isn't a PR board.
- If your experience with a firm changed over time, say so. What was true a year ago might not be true today.
Promotion & advertising
- Do not use this section to push a firm you're affiliated with or earning referrals from without disclosing it upfront. If you don't disclose and we find out, the post goes and so do you.
- Referral links get removed without warning.
- DMing members to push a firm or deal off the back of their posts will get you banned.
Posting standards
- When sharing an experience, include the basics: firm name, account size, challenge type, how long you've been with them, and whether you've been paid out.
- When discussing a firm's rules or model, be precise about which account type and which version of the rules. Firms update their conditions regularly.
- Industry news is welcome, but add your own take. A copy-paste of a press release isn't a discussion.
- If you're speculating about a firm's practices or financial health, label it as speculation.
Other things that'll get your post removed
- Fake reviews, positive or negative. If it looks planted, it goes.
- Rumours presented as confirmed information.
- Posts from people visibly affiliated with a competing firm.
Warnings for minor stuff, bans for anything deliberate or repeated.
