bdswiss has been on a downward trajectory in my experience through 2025. spreads creeping wider, more slippage on stops, slower customer service responses than 2024.

considering moving but want to understand if its broker-specific decline or just my perception. anyone else trading with bdswiss currently seeing the same?

saw the same pattern through 2025. their service quality dropped noticeably after the regulatory changes earlier in the year. tracked my actual costs vs 2024 - up about 22% in effective trading cost. moved to vantage 3 months ago, not regretted it.

+1. bdswiss had a tough 2025. theyve been profitable for years but the recent changes hurt operational quality. not a broker id recommend right now even though they were fine 18 months ago.

what causes brokers to suddenly get worse like that? are they trying to make more money off existing clients?

usually a combination: regulatory pressure forcing cost cuts, market share loss pushing aggressive monetization of remaining clients, internal restructuring causing operational disruption. when you see multiple negative changes in a 6-month window (wider spreads, slower service, new fees) thats a sign the firm is under pressure. monitor closely or move.

every broker that was 'fine 18 months ago' but isnt now is just showing you what they actually are when youre not paying attention.
