did the opposite - went back to part-time after going full time. quality of my trading improved when i had a salary covering basics. the pressure of trading for full income was poisonous for my decision making. now i make less from trading but my hit rate is better and i sleep at night.

full-time trading vs trading as side hustle, real talk -
how do you actually develop your own strategy instead of just copying onerealistically months, and thats normal, not slow. the observation phase alone needs enough screen time to see the pattern recur across conditions, then testing and refinement take more. anyone promising a tradeable personal strategy in a week is selling something. but the months arent wasted, theyre where the understanding and trust get built. a strategy you developed over months you will hold through drawdowns that would make you abandon a borrowed one overnight. the time is the point.

honest review thread, post your real experience with any prop firmthe review sites are useless, half affiliate links and half astroturf. so lets build something real here: post your genuine experience with any prop firm you've actually traded with. the firm, how long, whether you got funded, and crucially whether you actually withdrew. no affiliate links, no firm shilling, just lived experience so newcomers have something honest to read.

vantage markets, how does it compare to pepperstone and ic markets+1. vantage is a legitimate competitor to the established asic brokers. spread-wise they need to be aggressive to take market share so traders benefit. operationally they're newer so some tooling lags behind.

how do you actually verify a broker is regulated and not just claiming itthe entity mismatch is exactly how people get burned. they see fca on the site, deposit, and only when something goes wrong discover their contract was with a seychelles or saint vincent entity. read the client agreement and find the sentence that names who you are actually contracting with. that name goes in the regulators search box.

alpha capital review after 6 months - honest takeyes 80% to you, 20% to alpha. that scales to 90/10 after a few successful months. standard prop firm structure but their 80% starting share is on the higher side - some firms start at 70.
