been funded with funded peaks since september, received two payouts in january and february. writing this up because i couldn't find much recent experience when i was researching them.

the short version: they pay, rules are reasonable, customer support is decent but not excellent. longer version below in replies.

$100k two-phase evaluation. fee was around $500 which is competitive at that account size. first phase 8% target, second phase 5%. daily loss 5%, max drawdown 10%. standard industry rules, no notable gotchas in the fine print. passed first phase in 18 days, second in 12 days.

how long did the actual payouts take? that's the main thing people want to know.

first payout requested on a monday, received thursday of the same week. second one was slightly longer, 6 days. both via bank wire. no request for additional documents beyond the initial kyc. the payout process was genuinely smooth.

you mentioned customer support was decent but not excellent - what specifically fell short?

response times are good (usually under 4 hours). where it falls short: the support agents sometimes give inconsistent answers on rules questions. asked about a specific situation around a correlated positions rule twice and got two slightly different interpretations. for anything rules-sensitive i now insist on a written clarification and save it. small firms often have inconsistent internal knowledge on edge case rules.

the inconsistent rules interpretation is a recurring issue across many mid-tier firms. rules are written by legal, support agents interpret them in the moment. always get rules clarifications in writing for anything non-obvious. if they give you a written interpretation and then try to apply a different one later you have recourse.

pays on time, standard rules. get any edge-case rules clarification in writing.
