admiral markets after rebranding, anyone notice differences
-
admiral markets rebranded to 'admirals' a couple years back and shifted some marketing toward retail education content. as a long-time admiral markets client wondering if anyone noticed substantive changes in trading operations vs just marketing changes.
pre-rebrand they were known for solid mt4/5 execution and reasonable spreads on a fca/cysec entity. is that still the current reality?

rebrand to 'admirals' was almost entirely cosmetic for actual trading operations. execution quality on their fca entity has been steady through and after. they invested in their education product which made them more visible to beginners but didnt change the core broker experience for active traders.

their educational content is actually solid for beginners, mostly broker-agnostic teaching (chart reading, risk management). as a broker they're fine for small accounts to start with. you wont get the absolute tightest spreads but the convenience of education + execution in one place has value for learners.

fair point. but admirals education is more honest than most. they actually warn about leverage risks and have content explaining why most beginners lose. some brokers educational content is just product pitches in disguise.
