pipfarm has been showing up in trader discords recently. they launched around mid-2025, ASIC entity plus offshore arm, claiming ultra-low spreads and high leverage. pricing on raw account looks aggressive (0.0-0.2 pip on majors plus low commission).

for newer brokers there's always the question of stability. anyone here actually tested them with real money for more than a few weeks?

opened a small account 4 months ago to test. execution has been good, withdrawals processed within 2 business days (3 successful withdrawals). support responsive. customer base is growing but they havent had a stress test like a black swan event yet. for newer brokers, smaller accounts to test is the right approach.

general rule for new brokers: regardless of how good they look initially, dont deposit more than 10% of your total broker exposure in the first 12 months. theyre not lying necessarily but they havent been tested by adversity. quality only proves itself over time and through difficult events.

what kind of 'adversity' do brokers go through that could affect me?

major events that stress brokers: extreme market volatility events (CHF unpeg 2015, covid march 2020), regulatory crackdowns in their jurisdiction, internal liquidity issues, technology failures during critical market hours, payment processor changes. brokers handle these differently. some pay all clients fairly, some have controversial handling. only proven during real events.

every new broker promises 'best execution' until they have a bad month. then they discover the fine print that says theyre allowed to widen spreads or refuse stop fills.

+1 strongly on testing with small amounts. pipfarm could be the next great broker or could be gone in 18 months. nobody can know yet. small skin in the game, learn how they operate, scale up only after proven.
