fxpro went through some changes through 2024 - new ownership, restructured product offering, some staff turnover that was visible from outside. as someone who had an account with their cysec entity for 2 years pre-changes, im curious if anyone has current experience with them in 2026.

specifically: did their execution quality hold up through the transition? customer service still responsive? any new fees creep in?

current fxpro cysec client, account active since 2021. execution quality has been stable through and after the transition. no service degradation that i've measured. spread structure unchanged. their new ownership seems hands-off operationally so far.

echo above. fxpro cysec is a known quantity, execution is consistent, withdrawal speed is 2-3 business days reliably. the 2024 changes were corporate not operational. as long as the team running execution stays in place i think theyre fine.

when a broker changes ownership, what does that actually mean for me as a client?

usually it means: same accounts, same platform, same banking arrangements (if regulator approves). it can mean: changed fee structure over time, changed support quality, changed risk appetite. its like buying a restaurant - the building stays the same but the food might shift gradually. always monitor for 6-12 months after a transition and be ready to move if things degrade.

+1. transition periods are where to watch closely, not where to immediately leave. fxpro has handled the transition cleanly from the outside. if they start nickel and diming with fees in 2026 that would be the signal to reconsider.

every broker transition is fine until 18 months in when the new owners 'optimize the business'. wait and watch is correct.
