vantage gold spread blows out at news, just me?

eurusd on vantage is fine, tight as anything. but xauusd? during cpi last week it went to like 5+ pips for a few seconds. ic markets stayed under 2 same moment. anyone else see this on gold or is my feed cursed

yeah gold widens more on vantage than ic in my experience too. majors theyre basically equal but gold ic wins. probably lp mix

weirdly vantage was BETTER for me on aud/usd. tighter p95 than ic. so it really depends on the pair, gold just isnt their strong one
