e8 funding offers a structured 2-step evaluation with profit targets at 8% (phase 1) and 5% (phase 2). their funded program then has 80/20 split, scaling potential to $1M account size over time.

considering them but havent seen many threads discussing actual funded experience with them. mostly people talking about passing the evaluation. wondering if anyone has been on the funded side for 6+ months.

    check the details

passed e8 in june 2025, been funded since. 7 payouts received over 8 months. all on time, typically 4-5 business days from request. their scaling program is legit - my account scaled from initial $50k to $80k after consistent months. comm with support has been responsive.

+1. e8 is one of the underrated props because they don't market as loudly as ftmo. but operationally they've been one of the cleaner experiences i've had. their dashboard is functional, their rules are clear, their payouts are reliable.

what is account 'scaling' exactly? does the prop give me more money to trade?

yes essentially. scaling = after demonstrating consistency (usually X months of profitable cycles), the prop firm increases your funded account size. e8's scaling moves from initial size (e.g. $50k) through tiers up to $1M over many months. you get to trade larger positions on the same percentage rules. its their way of rewarding proven traders with more capital to work with.

            test small first

scaling is the genuine value of long-term prop accounts. a fresh $200k evaluation costs $1000+ in fees. scaling from $50k to $200k through consistency costs less than $200 in initial eval and you've built actual track record. better path for serious traders.

              keep records

scaling sounds great until you realize most traders dont stay consistent long enough to reach the higher tiers. its a marketing carrot for the eval fees the unprofitable ones pay.

                trust but verify
