eightcap quality, real opinions please

eightcap has been mentioned a few times in this forum lately. asic regulated, low spreads, supports both mt4/5 and ctrader. on paper looks like a competitor to pepperstone razor.

before i open and fund an account, want real opinions from people actually trading with them. specifically: execution quality at high volume periods, customer service if something breaks, withdrawal speed.

bonus question: anyone compared eightcap directly to pepperstone for scalping?

ran eightcap raw account for 14 months until last april. execution was solid, comparable to pepperstone for my scalping strategy. customer service is responsive (live chat under 2 mins typically). withdrawals to bank wire took 1-2 business days. moved off only because i consolidated brokers, not because of issues.

+1. eightcap is one of the underrated brokers because they dont market aggressively. their ctrader integration is one of the cleanest ive used. spreads on majors typically 0.0-0.3 raw plus standard commission.

is it better to use ctrader or mt5 with them? does it actually matter for the user?

matters depending on what you do. for discretionary trading both work fine, choose by UI preference. for automated trading mt5 has more EAs available but ctrader has cleaner cBots in c#. for advanced charting ctrader has slight edge. test both with their demo accounts, pick what feels right.

ive been on eightcap 2 years and the only complaint i have is their analyst content emails useful for some but spam to me. otherwise execution is great, withdrawals always on time, never had a billing dispute

eightcap is fine. pepperstone is fine. ic markets is fine. theyre all the same offshore-wrapped asic broker repackaged. pick whichever has the best welcome bonus that day.
