forex fury markets a 93% win rate. my bs detector is going off. high win rate usually means tiny tp and huge sl so one loss eats 10 wins. anyone run it long enough to know the real risk reward

your detector is right. 93% win rate is real-ish but its because it scalps tiny tp with a wide stop. so yes a few losers erase many winners. the win rate is a marketing number, the only thing that matters is net after a bad month. ran it, was slightly green for a while then a volatile week ate it

93% win rate, 100% account loss rate eventually. the two arent contradictory

ran it on a news filter for 5 months. small steady gains UNTIL i forgot to disable it over an nfp once, gave back 6 weeks in 20 min. these high-winrate scalpers live or die on the filter. if you cant babysit it dont

a setting that stops the ea trading around high impact news (nfp, cpi, fomc) cause spreads blow out and the scalp logic gets wrecked. some EAs have it built in, some you toggle manually. forgetting to is how people nuke these accounts
