curious how people split this. i do serious analysis on desktop but find myself checking and even adjusting things on the mobile app during the day. wondering if im the only one who trusts the phone for anything beyond a quick glance.

desktop for any decision that involves drawing levels or reading structure, phone strictly for monitoring alerts i already set. the small screen quietly biases you toward zoomed-in noise and impulsive tweaks. i made my worst discretionary calls on the phone, never on desktop. now the phone is read-only for me.

same rule here. the phone is great for getting an alert and deciding whether to walk to the desk. its terrible for actually managing trades because the screen real estate hides the context that stops you doing something dumb.

if you can manage your strategy from a phone your strategy is either very good or you are not really managing anything. usually the second one.

a middle ground that works: set everything up on desktop with clear alerts and predefined orders, then the phone just needs a yes or no, never a fresh decision. the danger is using the phone to improvise. remove the improvisation and the phone becomes safe.

phone for watching, desk for doing.
