what is your actual realistic monthly return target
-
no telegram guru numbers please. real ones from real consistent traders.
for context - im in year 4 of trading, consistently profitable for the last 18 months. my actual realized monthly return is around 3-5% on average. some months 8, some -2. averages out to about 4%.
i used to think 10% monthly was achievable until i actually got consistent. now i realize anyone claiming 20%+ monthly is either lying or about to blow up.
curious what serious people target and what they actually achieve.

5 years profitable, target 2.5%/month, achieve about 2.8% on average. drawdown floor of -4%. anyone saying they target 10%+ either has 5 figure account they treat like a casino or theyre delusional.
-
99% are lying or showing only the cherrypicked good months. the remaining 1% are using leverage so extreme that they will blow up - they just havent yet. take any '30% monthly' claim and ask for 3 years of consecutive verified statements. silence every time.

i target 50% monthly. and last month i did -100%. so the average is fine

some months i lose, but the consistency over the year is what matters. i used to chase moonshot numbers and blew up 3 accounts. boring numbers, real lifestyle.
