Last time I had a battery changed at a garage years ago, the radio locked itself and needed a code I didn't have, plus all the seat and mirror presets wiped. Now I'm considering a doorstep swap for my Golf and I wanted to <a href="https://carbatteryreplacementnearme.ae/" rel="nofollow ugc">find out more</a> about whether these mobile technicians use a memory saver or if they just disconnect and reconnect like the old days. It sounds trivial but my car has quite a few settings I'd rather not redo, and I'm not sure I even have the radio code written down anywhere. Has anyone with a car full of electronics had one of these swaps done and did everything survive? Also curious if the idle behaviour changed after the swap, since some cars apparently need a relearn.</p>
