It's not constant but it's happening more often and I know deep down this isn't something I can just live with. The dealer quoted me something that made me sit down, so now I'm looking at independent options. I read about Top BMW gearbox repair in Musaffah and it sounds promising, but I'm wary of anyone who promises the world before even looking at the car. What I want to know is whether a rebuild is usually the answer or if these things can be fixed with a fluid and filter service first. Has anyone had similar symptoms and what did it end up being? I'd rather go into this with realistic expectations than assume the worst straight away.
