My wife's Tiguan had a milk spill in the boot about two months ago during a grocery run and despite my best efforts with baking soda and vinegar the smell is still there, especially when the car sits in the sun all day. It's driving us both mad and she's now refusing to drive it, which means I'm stuck doing school runs in it. The exterior could use some attention as well, some scratches on the rear bumper from a pillar in a car park, so I figure I might as well get the whole thing done in one go. I stumbled on exoticcarcare.ae/volkswagen-detailing-abu-dhabi while searching for someone who does proper deep interior work, not just a vacuum and a spray of air freshener that masks it for a day. Does anyone know if places like this actually extract odours properly or is that a separate specialist thing? I don't want to pay for a full detail only to find the smell comes back a week later. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who's had a similar nightmare and how they solved it.
