<p dir="auto">for those who actually moved from mt5 to ctrader for algo work: was it worth the migration cost? specifically interested in:</p>
<ul>
<li>execution stability for high frequency operations</li>
<li>quality of historical tick data for backtesting</li>
<li>broker availability (mt5 has way more brokers but ctrader brokers seem more execution-quality focused)</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">not a beginner question - looking for practical migration experience.</p>

C# + cAlgo is cleaner than MQL5 for complex strategies. but you trade off broker diversity hard. if your broker isnt on ctrader you cant use it. for me that meant abandoning 2 backup brokers.</p>
